With each steel building project we work on, we put our all into it. We searched for a way to give back through our work – and we chose to do that through child sponsorship.

Through our partnership with “Food For The Hungry”, we are able to bring hope and new opportunities to a child and their family.

Currently,

• 1 in 7 people around the world are hungry.*
• In Canada, 1/3rd of food is wasted.*
• 25% of children worldwide have stunted growth due to malnutrition.*

To us, this isn’t fair.

A child who is undernourished cannot attend school, so they cycle of poverty persists.

Which is why we decided that, through our work, we wanted to do something to put it right.

Through the Canadian organization “Food For The Hungry”, Zentner Steel Buildings is proud to engage in a ten year child sponsorship for every steel building project that we completeat $250,000  total project value or more.

That means that if you buy your industrial steel building from Zentner Steel buildings Ltd. or you choose us for your new agricultural steel building or commercial steel building, you could change the life of a young person, their family and their community forever.

“Food ForThe Hungry” has a single purpose: To end poverty one community at a time.

A ten year child sponsorship through “Food For The Hungry” will allow the organization to work with an entire community to change the way they see themselves and become self -sufficient as a community.

By giving a child and their family access to the resources they need to lift themselves out of poverty we are proud to have a positive impact on the world around us and plant the seed for future generations to flourish.

We chose to work with “Food For The Hungry” as they are focused on the big picture.

Since their beginnings, they have focused on community development based on “walking with” rather than “doing for”. This means that after a ten year period of collaboration with community leaders, Food For The Hungry will step back and allow the community to thrive on its own.

What’s more, “Food For The Hungry” employs over 98% local staff, meaning that training and employment opportunities are brought to communities to help bring them out of poverty.
